Loreauville’s Kelsi Louviere’s final season for the Lady Tigers turned out to be a very rewarding one.
First, Louviere was named co-MVP of The Daily Iberian’s Best of the Teche Softball Team.
She was also the MVP of District 7-2A as voted by the district’s softball coaches.
She was an honorable mention Class 2A All-State selection by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association and the final award came this weekend as she was named first-team All-State by the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association.
Louviere was one of three Teche Area athletes to be chosen to the team.
She was joined by Erath pitcher Lexie Gisclair and infielder Chloe Landry, who were chosen to the Class 3A All-State team.
There were 30 players from Class 2A who were voted first team.
