FRANKLIN — The St. Mary Parish Council will vote to certify the substantial completion of an access road at Wednesday’s regular meeting.
The council will authorize the parish president to sign anything necessary to certify the completion of the landfill access road improvement project at the Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill.
The council will vote on a resolution authorizing the parish president to execute a certificate of substantial completion relative to re-roofing, waterproofing and associated work at the Fairview Treatment Center Project as well.
Councilman Craig Mathews is slated to request an allocation of $20,000 from the 10 percent sales tax fund to the town of Baldwin relative to for physical improvements and equipment upgrades to the Baldwin Police Department.
The council will vote on a resolution authorizing the parish president David Hanagriff to execute a contract with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries relative to the Black Bear Conflict Management Program.
The meeting takes place 6 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse.
