The city of New Iberia and the town of Delcambre have ordered curfews in advance of Tropical Storm Barry.

Residents are required to stay off the streets from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday night as the storm passes through the area.

The curfew will also keep residents off the streets during the worst of the storm Friday night and early Saturday morning.

St. Martin Parish announced a curfew earlier Friday. St. Mary Parish government is expected to announce a curfew later this afternoon.
