Catholic High’s Bullock, Kenner earn weekly honors
Catholic High School quarterback Taylor Bullock earned his second straight Dauterive Hospital/Daily Iberian Offensive Player of the Week honor in a vote by fans of Teche Area high school football teams, and was joined by teammate Brennan Kenner as Defensive Player of the Week after the Panthers’ third straight blowout win in District 6-3A play.

Westgate eliminated; Delcambre advances
MORGAN CITY -- The Westgate Lady Tigers’ run in the Division II volleyball playoffs ended after one game Thursday as Morgan City handed WHS a 22-25, 13-25, 25-23, 24-26 loss.

The final week of the regular season has the Teche Area teams that are going to make the playoffs jockeying for postseason positioning while teams that are not making the playoffs get ready for the hardwood and the start of basketball season.
