ABBEVILLE — Funeral services for Ms. Angela M. Davis, 42, (BKA “Jan-Jan”) will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at C. M. Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Boudreaux officiating. She will await the resurrection in Woodlawn Cemetery in Milton. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. A resident of Abbeville, Ms. Davis passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at University Medical Center in Lafayette. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Angel Davis; four sons Davern Davis, Michael Davis, Timothy Davis and Dustin Davis; three sisters Patricia Davis (Kenneth), Sylvia Davis (Gary) and Monique Davis, all of Abbeville; four brothers Russell Johnson and Robert Davis (Yvette), both of Houston; Paul Davis of Abbeville and Albert Davis (Raquell) of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Davis; maternal grandparents, Adam and Lily Davis; two aunts Annie Bell Davis and Lou Bertha Davis and one uncle Austin Davis.

Lucy Madison Charles, 62,  a resident and a native of Franklin, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Care.

Georgie Mae Narcise

Funeral services for Georgie Mae Narcise will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home with Monsignor Ronald Broussard officiating.  Interment will be in the St. Edward Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.  There will be no visitation after 10 a.m.  The Rosary will be conducted at 10 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following.
