FRANKLIN— Funeral services will be held for Cameron Palmer, 6, at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Crossing Place in Franklin with David Plunkett officiating.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 6 p.m.until 10 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary Inc. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service at the Crossing Place.

 A native of New Iberia and a resident of Franklin, Cameron died Friday, July 4, 2008 in Fla.

He is survived by his father, Jonathan Heath Palmer of Franklin; mother, Heather Raye Palmer of Franklin;  paternal grandfather, Harold Palmer of Franklin; paternal grandmother, Maggie Palmer of Franklin; maternal grandfather, Edmond Durocher and his wife Dannell, of Orange, Texas.; maternal grandmother, Chavalene Gonsoulin of Franklin; brothers, Kyle Darden of Franklin, Caleb Darden of  Franklin and Kaden Palmer of Franklin; great maternal-grandparents, Thomas and Effie Cox of Baldwin and Faye and Edmond Durocher Sr. of Franklin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
