Iberia Parish Recreation District No. 8 tax

Recreation District No. 8 Proposition (Millage) Summary: 10 year, 3 mills property tax for acquiring, constructing, improving and/or supporting parks, playgrounds, recreation centers and other recreational facilities in Recreation District No. 8, together with furnishings, equipment and programs therefore.

Shall Recreation District No. 8 of the Parish of Iberia, State of Louisiana (the “District”), levy a three (3) mills tax (the “Tax”) on all the property subject to taxation in the District (an estimated $75,000 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the Tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2011 and ending with the year 2020, for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving and/or supporting parks, playgrounds, recreation centers and other recreational facilities in the District, together with furnishings, equipment and programs therefore?

Yes or No vote.
