Higginbotham - Weeks

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Higginbotham of Broussard, Louisiana are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth Higginbotham to Nils Alan Weeks of Danvers, Massachusetts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Weeks of Danvers, Massachusetts.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Therese Higginbotham and the late Mr. Thomas Higginbotham of Lafayette, LA and Mrs. Clara Kleinpeter and the late Mr. Dolan Kleinpeter of New Iberia, LA. Amy is a graduate of Comeaux High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and is currently working in a Masters degree of Reading. Amy is employed by the Hamilton-Wenham Public School System in Massachusetts.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ruth Weeks and the late Mr. Arnold Weeks of Danvers, Massachusetts and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Winn of Andover, Massachusetts. Nils is a graduate of Danvers High School and a graduate of Salem State College where he received an Associates degree in Criminal Justice and later graduated in Fire Science. Nils is employed by the Danvers Fire Fighter Department in Massachusetts.

The couple will be united in marriage on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, LA.
