Head coach Todd Russ wanted to give his players a chance to play before their home crowds, too, and that’s what the team will do this evening at the NISH boys’ basketball gym.
“This will be our first time and our only time playing at home,” said Russ. “I invited some (coaching) friends here.”

Joining NISH today are Framily Christian Academy of Baton Rouge, Livonia and Northside high schools.
Games start at 5 p.m. with New Iberia playing Family Christian Academy. At 5:45, Livonia plays Northside. NISH plays Livonia at 6:30 p.m., with Northside taking on FCA at 7:15. The finale at 8 p.m. features New Iberia against Northside.
