Gonsoulin - Boutte

Brittany Ann Gonsoulin and Barrett Christopher Boutte were married on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark P. Gonsoulin of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lennes J. Boutte of New Iberia. Officiating at the Nuptial Mass was the Rev. Jude Halphen.

Escorted by her father, Mark, the bride wore a white, strapless floor-length gown in a mermaid style. It featured a sweetheart beaded lace trumpet and a shirred tulle bodice and was completed by a beaded lace sweep train. In her hair, she wore a crystal- and pearl-accented comb with a white veil accented with crystals. She carried a bouquet of two dozen red roses accented with a pearl rosary carried by four generations before her.

Krysten Elizabeth Sokol served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Lynne Romero, Katie Elizabeth Labiche, Mikelyn Marie Louviere, Jenna W. Romero and Brandi Ann Chaisson. Riley Marie Lamb and Addison Lynn Gonsoulin were the flower girls. Braedon Mark Gonsoulin and Brandt Orr Silor served as ring bearers.

Blake Jude Boutte served as best man. Groomsmen were Blaze William Boutte, Jered Paul Frederick, Brent Michael Defelice, Kyle Damon Basil Adams and William Joseph Trappey III. Ushers were Jerred Dane Cornier, Brett Christopher Gonsoulin, Brodie James Gonsoulin, Brock Daniel Gonsoulin, Matthew Lucas LaBauve, Gerald Thomas Adams and Anthony Ray Tyler.

A reception was held for family and friends at Willow Wood Reception Hall in New Iberia. Following a wedding trip to Sandals in St. Lucia in the Caribbean Island, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
