Watching channel 10 Super Bowl coverage. Totally disgusted that the President of the United States is taking up air space where people tune in to watch the preview game show and instead we hear the President trying to push his agenda. Totally distasteful!! By the way I don't care if it would have been any other President. It's distasteful!!!

" <<To: To Becki>> No , I did not have my head in the sand. I did not want to hear any more lies from Obama. He lied to us about the transparency he would have. He lied to us about not taxing those making under $250,000. So, what non-lie did you hear from his lips? What has President Obama accomplished since he has been in government. While a Senator he voted 'present' nearly all the time. He has no experience. So YOU get your head out of the sand. "

" You Obama supporters can keeping whining all you want, but your sweet Obama didn't receive any Electoral Votes from Louisiana. That means that the majority of Louisiana didn't vote for him and he should have waited for another time………….like when I'm at work. Maybe the next time he is aired it should be pay-per-view then he will know how many people really want to hear his lies. "

" No Becki, you buried your head in the sand. I better mute him in case he says something that makes me realize he makes sense. I didn't like it eather as part of the game coverage, but don't blame him, Couric was asking the questions. "

" Bush appeared on American Idol in a 60 sec. video spot to thank the viewers for donating 70 million dollars to go to help impoverished children. He wasn't interviewed for 30 min. or more about a health care plan the majority of American people don't want! "

" Well of course he is still campaigning. He's worried he'd done for with the rest of those dems. It was proven in the Massachusetts Senate Race. The first republican in years! That ought to tell you something. People are fed up! We want the best for our kids, not the other way around. If he keeps all this spending, our kids will be in dept up to
    their eyeballs. "

I think Sean Hannity and Palin are disgusting. Hence, I don't watch them on TV.

    Simple problem, simple solution. "

" This president does not realize that he won the election. Everyday when I turn on the TV, he is splattered all over the media "campaigning." Would someone please let him know that he has won the election. No other president has taken up air time. Why should he? If something really important should arise and he is on to address the nation, I will ignore him just like I do now. It is like the story of the boy who cried wolf. He did it so many times that when the-real-thing-happened-no-one-went-to-his-aid. Geesh!!! "

" Katie Couric needed her "time" with Obama since ABC has had many interviews with him. I thought it inappropriate, actually I put my TV on mute and didn't watch the tv while she was interviewing him. Was a teleprompter used? Also, OUR taxes paid for the 2010 Census Ads. "

" LOLz, Bush had a lot more class than to do something like that. Why don't you go and finish your liberal martini somewhere else. Like Washington, D.C.

    Hissssssssssssss "

" hey Frank, make sure you use the same standard to judge Faux News and the Republican and Tea Baggers love affair with each other. Just for your information, CBS news still gets about 7 million viewers everynight, Faux News, aroung 2.2million, so, who isn't watching who. "

Frank Rizzo wrote on Feb 8, 2010 11:46 AM:

" Narcissism at its finest! Obama and his network couldn't pass up the opportunity of the captive audience because he knows that he is losing his influence throughout the country, and nobody is watching CBS anymore outside of Survivor or football. It was a perfect fit. But thank goodness I have the NFL Network, I immediately changed the channel!! "

LOLz wrote on Feb 8, 2010 11:05 AM:

" Yeah, right! If Bush had done the same thing you'd be praising him for engaging the country. Say what you will, you're only complaining because a Democrat is doing it.

    Pppfhtppthhh! "

SILK wrote on Feb 8, 2010 9:32 AM:

" HOLD ON NOW! If you want to lay blame, lay it at the feet of CBS. They requested the interview and ran it before the Superbowl. Even though I'm interested in the Presidents views, I didn't want anyone watching at my party to start a political argument, soooo, I turned down the sound on the big screen, turned up the Saints songs and let the beer and food flow. When the interview was over, turned the music down, TV up, and watched the Saints kick butt. "
