The Supreme Court voted to allow corporations to spend as much as they wish to influence elections in the United States. Multinational corporations now have more power than our citizens in determining the future of our nation. The banks that we just bailed out are now free to spend our tax money running ads against politicians advocating banking reform.

Goodbye democracy, hello corporate oligarchy. We hope you enjoy your new country.

" Until 1987, the tax rate on the top bracket never went below 70% when Regan lowered it to 50%. It is now 38%.

Of course the powers that be have the masses of drooling morons believing that any mention of restoring the traditional tax structure is class warfare and soshalism.

Now that the public is too stupid to criticize the real enemies of our nation, they can blatantly assume power. The next 2 generations are out of luck. Let's hope your great grandkids are smarter. "

" If voting libertarian dilutes conservative votes, then voting Republican dilutes conservative principles.

Real conservatism may be unpopular, but don't fool yourself. A vote for Republicans is a vote for neo-conservative, big government. They make it quite clear that classical conservatism is not a welcome philosophy. "

" Stealing is absolutely wrong. I say make businesses treat AMERICANS right as in 40 hours and benefits and THEY WILL stimulate the economy from their earnings. I appreciate my stimulus check but I can surely stimulate the economy better if my employer would treat me like an AMERICAN and pay me as he should instead of making me find work where I can. Multitasking plus cut hours is OPPRESSION. There has to be a better balance. Government can also stop spending money on things such as space exploration. Millions spent when AMERICANS have need. "

" I know how we can stimulate the economy. Businessess do not want unions, right. They must also not be allowed to opressive. They must be forced to treat Americans like Americans through legislation. It is wrong to multi-task a person and then still cut their hours. Americans have to find several part time jobs to make 40 hours. I remember when AMERICANS got 40 hours period, out of prosperity and I would like to believe respect. I've seen people steal because of the way AMERICANS are treated on the job. "

" I think Ron Paul would make a great president. Texas has a lot of good hard working people, to elect somone like Ron Paul. Ron Paul left the republican party because they were spending money just like democrats. The republican party needs more Ron Pauls, not a third party to dilute conservative votes. I may feel for people who cant make it in the modern world, but I am more concerned with the future of my children and grandchildren. They shouldnt have the burden of paying off debt created by our pathetic government. "

" Jimmy I've been a Democrat for many years. It once was the party that cared and listened to it's constituents. Today that is sadly missing. I have struggled with the fact the party could not choose a person with any job experience of any kind and then con the people into electing him on the black sympathy issue. Now it's the health care issue. Not to mention rescuing corporate criminals with no penalties. I did not vote for Obama. I voted for Ron Paul. One thing I don't want to be is a Republican,---they-are-the-do-nothing-party. "

The law the supreme court struck down also kept the NRA from publishing the voting records of politicians before elections. They could not even make political statements in their magazines. That is what our crooked government passed the law for. The ruling stopped it. "

" The corporations always were contributing to the campaigns, they just had to do it through PACs, now they will be out in the open for all of us to see who they are supporting. Why should the corporations have the handcuffs placed on them when the unions are able to contribute and force their members to support their candidate? And what about the unfairness of the media supporting and endorsing their candidates as well? It's the first amendment, it's liberty, and freedom!! "

They also support Profiling, unobstructive wire-tapping, Roe instead of wade, the infamous chad in florida, free search and seizure and anything else that supports crooked government, rouge policing and theiving corporations. Welcome to corrupt and decaying america "
