So the ag's opinion is only an opinion and has no constitutional merrit. because he said it is his opinion.

" I have read the constitution, and I do not see why a state cannot recall any member of congress representing it,if a majority of its citizens request it. Dardin and Jindal WORK for us. If a majority request it They should do what they can to have it happen. "

" If we get rid of all the Marys out there, we will have no one left to run the government. We should start training new politicians right a way right away. Politicians with shallow pockets who are not prostitutes. "

" if you're all right then why the S.O.S issue a recall petition?
And did any of you read the constitution?
How can people uter statements with out knowing facts? This was all based on the 7th and 10th amendments. "

" BATON ROUGE — A New Iberia man's drive to recall U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu is useless since there's no provision in state or federal laws or constitutions that allows it, says Secretary of State Jay Dardenne.

If you belong to Facebook there is a Recall Landrieu page. Do a search on Facebook "

" Does anybody have any idea what's in the Constitution? You cannot recall a member of Congress. They can only be tossed by their own members if they misbehave. They can also be fired on the next election day. "

" You can't re-call a member of congress. Gawd! The foolishness of some people in this burg. "

" A recall will not be successful. They are too hard to accomplish. We had our chance to kick her out at the voting booth, now we're stuck with her. Those people that voted for her did this country a great dis-service. "
