LYDIA — Funeral services will be conducted for Susan Boudreaux Ramzan, 56, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Donovan Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Mausoleum.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010, from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. at David Funeral Home and again Wednesday at St. Nicholas Church from 8 a.m. until service time with a Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m.

A native of New Iberia and longtime resident of Lydia, Mrs. Ramzan died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at 5:35 p.m. in a local health care facility. She was a bench chemist for Hoh Pak Laboratories for the past 28 years.

Survivors include her husband, Nezam Ramzan, of Lydia; one son and one daughter Adam Ramzan and Amanda Ramzan and fiancee' Gabe Kohnke, all of Lydia; stepchildren Omar Ramzan and Intakab Ramzan, both of New Jersey and Intiez Ramzan of New York; one sister Patsy Barrilleaux and husband, Percy, of New Iberia; and four brothers Jesse “Joe” Boudreaux and wife, Anita, of New Iberia, Jerry Boudreaux and wife, Ramona, of Jeanerette, Larry Boudreaux and wife, Denise, and Jimmy Boudreaux and wife, Roberta, all of Lydia and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony W. and Paula Luent Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be Adam Ramzan, Mohamed Inshan, Anthony and Cory Boudreaux, Scott Mendoza and Percy Barrilleaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Kohnke, Joe, Jerry, Larry and Jimmy Boudreaux.
