Amazing what 100 million can do, Ried and his left reworded the bill to state that any State had 7 years of disasters would be entitled to this, guess what, Louisiana is the only one, and why should she care, shes not up for reelection next year, and just like TARP, the money will evaporate before it gets to the people. She sold out plain and simple.

Once the bill gets to the floor with the 60 votes for debate, it can be rammed through with 51 votes using the process of RECONCILIATION !!! Which the democrats will absolutely do!!!!
You don't have to throw Jindal into this! He is not voting on the bill!!! If Landrieu gets the money, if its not spent here I'm sure they will spend it somewhere! It's what they do best!!! Spend other people's money!!! They can not spend anything on this CRUMMY bill or this BRIBE and that would be best for everybody!!! "

This bill was about HEALTH CARE for everyone,not about people in New Orleans!!!
New Orleans is not the center of the universe!!!
There are more people in New Orleans Still waiting for more HAND-OUTS and refusing a HAND-UP!!!
I would rather give money to REAL needy people than most people in this country!!! We have 100 times the opportunities for jobs and every other opportunities than ANY country in the WORLD!!!

" Sen. Landrieu, I hope, is looking out for majority of her constituents. NO is still reeling from the effects of Katrina; parts of the city look just like it did after the hurricane hit. Schools are still not open, not enough medical facilities, etc. Perhaps Sen. Landrieu paid attention to the many people in La. that flocked to free health clinics and can see the real need for help in her state.
You must remember also; New Orleans is a much larger city than small town New Iberia who have shown they have no compassion for their fellow citizens! "
