Richard Paul Gonsoulin Sr.

Breaux Bridge — Private graveside services were conducted for Richard Paul Gonsoulin Sr., 60, at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at St. Bernard Mausoleum #2 in Breaux Bridge with Rev. Paul LaFleur  officiating.  Interment immediately followed.

A native of New Iberia and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Gonsoulin passed away at 11:17 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by his three sons Richie Gonsoulin Jr. and wife, Christine, of Breaux Bridge; Craig Gonsoulin Sr. and friend Heather Dimaya and Ryan Gonsoulin and fiancé Jessica Mestayer, all of New Iberia; two grandchildren Craig Gonsoulin Jr. and Lindsey Gonsoulin and six brothers Gene Gonsoulin, Kelly Gonsoulin, Clyde Gonsoulin and Benny Gonsoulin all of New Iberia; Jerry Gonsoulin of Loreauville and Dennis Gonsoulin of Morgan City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clet and Dalphine Robicheaux Gonsoulin.
