Why are Terrorist to Be Tried in N Y C?

Barack Obama and Eric Holder are going to have the trial in New York because it will be a big news event from the time the trial starts until it finishes after the 2010 elections!

What are the reasons for this decisions? Well I would suggest it will distract people from discussing the huge unemployment numbers and take the public's attention away from the next big push for Cap & Trade which will probably take place under the cover of the trials!Not to mention the fact that Obama can refresh his BLAME GAME on George Bush for all the ills of society. Bush and Cheney and the whole Republican administration along with the CIA will be on trial and all the CIA sources and intelligence collection methods will be revealed to the world to the detriment of agents all over the world who are risking their lives every day to protect us! And also there are the 2010 elections for congress. I'm sure the democrats will have their ads with republican canidates linking them to George Bush at the same time these trials are going on attempting to vilify the republican administration!

These trials will endanger the people of New York and the rest of the country and serve a big propaganda opportunity for the terrorist!

These terrorist should have been tried in military tribunals already and summarly executed by the military!

The politically correct people in this country are once again endangering our nation by coddling these terrorist and using them for political purposes! Obama has proven his inability to lead this nation and his willingness to use any tactic to further his political agenda! He proved he was a good campaigner but he has proven he absolutely is not a LEADER! With all the wreckless spending and adding to the defecit and endless government programs and regulations and red tape, one can only assume this is meant to destroy our country! That's the best JOB Obama and the democrats have done since 2008!

" These admitted terrorist should not get a trial. They've confessed to the crime and in doing so, deserve a plea deal. Isn't that what happens to every criminal that confesses? The trial's are canceled and they start their punishment.

" If these terrorists are tried as common criminals in New York there is a very good possibility they will walk as free men. Our entire judicial system will be on trial and let's face it, the way criminals walk free these days I certainly wouldn't want to see the fiasco that could take place. I am interested in how they will get around the Miranda Rights Waiver and water boarding questioning methods. Maybe the trial will be useful in that cops may be able to start using some of the techniques used on these terrorists here in America. "

" Erick Holder was before a senate panel and was asked by senator Lindsay Graham if Bin Laden were captured today if he would be entitled to be given "Miranda Rights"? Holder replied "It all depends"! He later said this issue was a red herring!
If Bin Laden were captured and not given his Miranda Rights and later tried in a U S court the evidence against him could be thrown out!!!

They could have been tried (in military tribunals even) long before now.
