Still Shockable

Upon reading a blog under the article about the guy caught with 300 pounds of marijuana, someone

wrote "I bet he was only selling to make ends meet. I hope no one passes judgement against this

guy."

Am I missing something ? How many of us out there are just selling dope to make ends meet?

How did our parents make ends meet without selling dope? I personally have lived my entire life

without selling dope to make ends meet. I bet there are lots of people who make ends meet without

selling dope. And part of this is the not passing judgement. Have we gotten to a society where it's

ok to sell dope if "you're making ends meet?" Do judges take this into consideration or should they?

I thought I was shockproof but this one shocked me!!!

Thanks to the DARE program at our schools, any elementary school kid knows that it is illegal. Hence, ignorance is not an excuse. Guilty by association! "

The abuse of drugs, including alcohol, is a life style that can only lead to personal disaster. Relying on chemicals to get through the day not only destroys the user, but also the families involved, the aftereffects of which last for generations. " To them, making ends meet means supporting their rockstar- lifestyle preferrably without breaking a sweat. Selling the stuff is easier than getting an education or going to work at the pipe yard or on a construction crew (since they didnt get said education). It starts with the parents who don't teach their kids right, then from generation to generation it seems to become more acceptable. Honest hard work vs. selling drugs on the street?? So here's a thought...... make this stupid herb, like tobacco, legal and watch the price drop like a rock. Anyone could have access to it making it cheap AND less profitable.
