NLE Book Fari Curious North Lewis had a book fair this week. They had family night and grandparents day, which are wonderful ways for everybody to show support for the school and the children. My question is do they have enough money to turn people away, evidentially they do, because they turned numerous people away from grandparents day. What I am trying to say is I understand it is called grandparents day, but do the powers that be not understand some children do not have grandparents are maybe they do but they are ill, work, or live somewhere else. I don't understand why they don't take this into consideration and take all of the support they can get rather it be from an aunt, uncle or even mom and dad. I suppose they would rather see a child be left out of activities or have no support from family. Schools are always doing fundraisers, well this is one and they were turning money away so maybe next time they try to sell us junk or anything else maybe we should not buy because again they turned plenty of money away yesterday. Is it too much to ask for people to be understanding, considerate and nice about certain things. Especially when it is benefiting them. |
