Two key health care ???s

Given the obfuscation and confusion created by the different factions clamoring for a voice within the health care debate, it seems there are only two pertinent questions ... and neither one ever gets asked:

1) Why can’t all U.S. citizens have health care coverage exactly like the president and members of Congress?

2) What is the Constitutional authority for any of the health care proposals now being debated in Congress?

“If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about the answers.” — Thomas Pynchon

What wondrous magic is conferred upon our elected officials that exempts them from living under the same laws they mandate for your family and mine?

If we are a nation of laws and not of men, how are our leaders allowed to swear allegiance to a Constitution whose very words they choose to ignore: Equal protection under the law.

“In questions of power, then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down by the chains of the Constitution.” — Thomas Jefferson.
