History of the universe

Many have concluded the universe began as one central explosion of dense material . Was this a spontaneous combustion or an outside trigger ? For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction . When the seed exploded what imploded ? What shape is the universe as we now know it ? The universe is still expanding , is there a stopping point ?

" The Universe is old. We now have images of it dating back 14 billion years. Our solar system is just a fraction of that age.

How the Universe began is anyone's guess... but it is both proper and appropriate for us to view these questions as unanswerable for now and very much worth pursuing.

Our own 'opinions' about time are more valuable and less contested than when Galileo and Copernicus and Darwin pondered them, wondered, bravely took the risks to present them.

The shape of OUR collective mind is more important than the shape of the Universe. "

There are more than 300 varieties of garlic alone. Man will never know every inch of this universe. They will only to continue to discover and learn. God is just that great. We all can say we don't know everything. But, I do know that there is a Creator/God who created the universe & everything in it and around it. "

Was this isolated to one region of the earth or many ? Was the family tree inclusive of monkeys ? DNA is similar to monkeys or other creatures ?
Is the evolution process on going , on pause or continuing ? "

I made no such claim. I merely pointed out that evolution had been observed in the laboratory, that scientists had even been able to trigger evolutionary change, and that Ferris' book was a good read. "

Actually, this is untrue: Evolution has been observed in laboratory conditions and even triggered by scientists. Granted, this is not large-scale evolution (such as the evolution of one species into another), but small-scale evolution (one variety of a species becoming a new variety).

    1. Where did the dense material for the big bang come from?

    3. If the universe is expanding (I don’t question that) what is it expanding into. If it’s expanding then it must currently have an end somewhere. If it is expanding into a void is that void not part of the universe? How large is the void and what’s beyond it?

Don’t tell me the universe is infinite because I can’t comprehend infinity . "

They realize the ridiculousness when the record is played back to them. "I don't know" is a cop-out because the answers are out there. The bible states, "behold I have foretold you ALL things." Your superstitous beliefs are a bunch of hocus pocus origin myths that have changed radically over the course of recorded history. When you understand why you regect all other religious versions of creation, you will understand why i regect yours. "

" To "Darwin," Evolution suggests that the universe happened by a big bang. The bible goes into detail about the foundations of the earth and the rest of the solar system. To say that neither has been proven is a cop-out. A creationist will study the bible and compare biblical archaeology evidence before reaching a conclusion. An evolutionist will read thousands of books and when the pieces of the puzzle don't fit, resort to a default position of "I don't know." "

To say that the flu evolves, or that our thoughts have evolved through education is a far cry away from proof that the earth evolved from matter generated in an astronomical explosion. "

Look at it like this, before the 16th century people generally believed the Earth was at the center of the universe. Thanks to people like Copernicus and Galileo we have what is now known as the Heliocentric Theory.
Do you doubt the earth revolves around the sun? No you don't, and mountains of scientific evidence proves this.

How could humans of different cultural backgrounds morph from apes? Are you kidding? They just "progressed" to a higher intelligence? Did they teach humans how to be humans? Ever had one read, write, sing? They just happened to shed all there hair except for in private places? This is a joke! And so...they only found the bones of one humanoid with no family. "
