JEANERETTE — A Funeral Mass will be conducted for Mrs. Euzebe Landry, the former Aerice Landry, 98, at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. at David’s in Jeanerette. Visitation will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.

A native of Jeanerette, long time resident of Weeks Island and Jeanerette and current resident of Consolata in New Iberia, Mrs. Landry died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at 1:45 p.m. at Consolata Nursing Home. She was a full time mom who loved to cook and care for her family.

Survivors include her children Mary Ellen Puckett and Euzebe Earl Landry of New Iberia, Louis J. and Andrew J. Landry of Jeanerette and August P. Landry of Maurice; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Euzebe Landry; parents, Aladin and Melanie Genest Landry; brothers Rene, Henry, August and Honore Landry; and sisters Madeline and Louise Landry.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
