Sara Ann Landry and Jason Thomas Landry were married on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville. The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Eleanor Landry of Jeanerette and Amanda Trahan of Lafayette and the groom is the son of Tommy and Eileen Landry of New Iberia. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was Monsignor J. Douglas Courville.

Escorted by her father, Wayne, the bride wore an ivory-colored, silk A-line gall gown with a sweetheart neckline accented with beading along the top, waist and back. For her headpiece, the bride wore a cathedral-length veil accented with an antique broach. She carried a bouquet of orange and yellow roses tied with a chocolate-colored brown ribbon.

Brittney Mouret served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Buteau, Valerie Redmon, Erin Lawrence, Katie Enox, Lindsay Jones, Kathryn Landry and Jennifer Romero. Maly Mullen served as flower girl. Ethan Haydel and Mason Bourque were the ring bearers.

Tommy Landry served as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Landry, Rusty Laviolette, Bannon Eldridge, Charles Shea, Barrod Russo, Brennon Segura and Christopher Hewell. Ushers were Trey Dupré and Jeremy DeCourt.

A reception was held for family and friends at the Cade Community Center in Cade. Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
