A Night With The Grand

I am in need of honest advice. One of my friends was recently in a horrible accident. She was in ICU for almost  two weeks and is now facing an extended stay in a hospital and months of physical therapy. I was thinking about how I might help the family out in their time of need. I have limited means myself in the current times we all face. I do however have one thing. A 1928 Kimball Grand Piano. I was wondering if there might be enough interest in playing this piano to host a benefit for my my friend. Perhaps "A Night With The Grand" sort of thing. I usually bounce ideas off of my daughter but she has turned 18 and knows it all now, especially how NOT to be home or reachable, so I am turning to you with this. Please be honest but kind. Thank you.

" I commend you for wanting to help your friend. I have no idea if that would be a sucess. God bless you and your friend. "

" I think it may work if you have some local "celebrities" involved, either playing the piano or singing along to it. Maybe a local restaurant would work out a deal with you for a candlelight dinner with piano music in the background, contributing a portion of the sales to your cause. "
