Funeral services will be conducted for Ms. Fay Haas, 101, at 2 p.m. Friday,  Nov. 6, 2009 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Wyche officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until time of service.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Haas passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Consolata Nursing Home.

She loved gardening and sewing. Fay enjoyed many years of service as a member of the Eastern Star Organization. Many will always remember her for her loving spirit and her desire to always help others. Granny Fay was a mother-like figure to Ann Terrell, a dear friend. She will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones, and friends.

She is survived by her three grandsons, one granddaughter, nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, George J. Haas; parents, Marvin and Nina Bull; son Wyman H. Haas and his wife, Jean O. Haas; brothers Nolan Bull and Nulan Bull; sister Sylvia “Dutch” Bull; and one grandchild.
