Shelby Delann Taylor and Tim Boling were married on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at First United Methodist Church of New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Earle and Cindy Taylor of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Bob and Leigh Boling of Shreveport. Officiating at the candlelight, double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Scott Bullock.

Escorted by her father, Earle, the bride wore a strapless, natural white shantung and taffeta gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and dropped bodice. The gown featured box pleats in the back leading into a chapel-length train. In her hair, she wore a two-tiered, fingertip-length veil embellished with small pearls. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, cymbldium orchids, hand-tied with her maternal great-grandmother’s handkerchief.

Brittany Taylor Harrington, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Boling Lobrano, Daisy Cubbit, Natalie Rentz and Kelly Leblanc. Junior bridesmaid was Laura Savoie.

Kevin Jones served as best man. Groomsmen were Beau Harrington, J. R. Fuller, Randy Claiborne and Drew Boling. Ushers were Jake Lofton, Zack Lofton and Garrett Kreamer.

A reception was held for family and friends at The Gougenheim in New Iberia. Following a wedding trip to Mayan Riveria, Mexico, the couple will reside in Shreveport.
