Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Fletcher Funeral Home for Bay Kittirath, 65, who passed at 3:31 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.

Interment will be private.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, from  5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at 10 a.m. until time of service.

He was a native of Vientiane, Laos and was a resident of Broussard.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Somkhame Kittirath, of New Iberia; one son Anonexay Kittirath of New Iberia; one daughter Seisavanh Phomthirath of Broussard; two brothers Frank Kittirath of Dallas and Oun Vannarth of New Iberia; four sisters Bouakay Vongphouthone of Stockton, Calif., Bounlop Kittirath of New Iberia, Khanthaly Vilavong Mount Folia, France and Chanthaly Louangsouphom of New Iberia; three grandchildren Anachack Phomthirath, Ashton Phomthirath and Amare Phomthirath, all of Broussard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beng Kittirath and Chantha Kittirath; two sisters Pan Kittirath and Kaisy Kittirath and one brother.
