On 9/17/09 Mr. Chapman had an article mentioning rain and some recollections.  In the article was

a recent blog "It's so bad, a pack of four Cuban made toilet paper rolls was selling recently for 28

pesos, about two days salary for the average Cuban worker."  Curious I looked up exchange rates and 28 pesos is equal to about one American dollar.  And we have the nerve to  gripe about costs ?

And remember until the end of the year, they are out of toilet paper.  That's how systems like this work.

Can you imagine the same in America ?

Also read the other day Irish kid's have to bring their own toilet paper to school.

Be thankful our grocery stores have toilet paper and it doesn't take two days wages to buy a pack !!!!

Meanwhile, I intend to enjoy the life I'm living versus others who have nothing better than to spew disgust and despair. "
