Led by corrupt people

What additional proof does this nation need that we are being led by corrupt individuals in Congress than to examine Charlie Rangel from New York? This individual is as dirty as they come and yet, not only does he chair one of the most powerful committees in Congress, he is overtly protected by the Democrat Party and Nancy Pelosi.

The man should be drummed out of Congress altogether rather than removed from his chairmanship of the Ways and Means Committee while the Democrat-controlled Congress performs an investigation.

Republicans have called for his dismissal and correctly so. Had Charles Rangel been a Republican, that Grand Old Party would have immediately called for his resignation, yet the Democrats coddle him and drag their feet while waiting for another emotional, “You lie!” from a junior congressman to divert America’s attention away from this slime-laden individual who chairs the committee that rules taxation in this nation.

Isn’t it ironical that his corruption charges revolve around unreported income on his own income tax returns?

How did that man amass such a fortune on his salary? Methinks the fox has been loose in the henhouse too long but is yet another solid indication of the corruption that exists and goes unnoticed and unpunished in our Congress.
