One of the best orchestrated fundraisers in Iberia Parish, this year’s three-day sale should continue that tradition when things kick off with the special Friends Only Preview Sale from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
Those who don’t want to join the Friends organization can shop until they drop from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8.

“It’s going to be the best book sale we’ve ever had,” event chairwoman Connie Comeaux declared in Thursday edition of The Daily Iberian.
Comeaux may be right because the best thing about this sale isn’t quantity or quality; it’s the price. Paperback books average about 25 cents each, while hardbacks start at $1.
Those prices simply can’t be topped, especially when considering all the great stories, biographies and others genres offered.
Calling the event a win-win doesn’t do it justice.
It’s a reader’s dream sandwiched around a fundraiser for the library.
