No excuses for his bad behavior he been enjoying it just didn't expect to get caught wearing a badge. "

Truth be known, there is probably much more corruption in the ranks of the IPSO. For these honest cops, who are beginning to surface, to keep looking the other way is unacceptable.
Keep up the pressure. Clean up this problem. Reward those who fight the good fight. "

How much other dirty deeds are going on in the IPSO with the knowledge of the surrounding deputies, who are looking the other way?
I would think plenty, given the rash of recent exposures.
Quit fooling yourself. Pray that our law enforcement cleans up so we will all be better off. "

But not one of you answers the burning question on whether you knew of Gardner's problem and failed to report it. Not one of you answers the question on whether there are more drug users on the force like Gardner.
And no, I am not FBI says, although I must admire him/her for the great comments. "

Just because a cop is on shift doesn't exempt him from the law. I saw a gray charger run the red (left turn) light at Adm D and Center for no reason and without signaling. He wasn't going to an emergency because I caught up to him a couple of lights later.
Hmmm...I wonder if I should get my own camera for my dashboard to catch ppl in the act...
Point: How can you stop someone for a traffic violation if you do it all the time? "
MeMeG wrote on Oct 8, 2009 11:10 AM:
Really though, there is a double standard for cops. Let that have been a black man on Hopkins and everyone would have blasted all black ppl in that area immediately! "

Even the comments in this forum suggest that the cops are biased. They would treat a person who made a harsh comment about cops differently than one who sucks up to them. What happened to "protect and serve"? "

When the cops post on this forum about the drug people being arrested, they never try to say that the poor drug addict was suffering from an illness.
Truth be known, drug addiction is an illness. Lets hear how cops reconcile this one. "

There shouldn't be this double standard.
Cops obey traffic laws? They need to learn how to drive first. "

Question: When can a cop do 70+ in a 55 without siren/lights legally? And turn without signaling? Etc... Is there any way to make them obey traffic laws?
I know its not all of them, but for those that do... "
