Hazel H. Ladouceur

Memorial graveside interment services will be conducted for Mrs. Paul Amos Ladouceur, the former Hazel Hebert, 90, at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery with Father Ed Degeyter officiating.

A native and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Ladouceur died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at 2 a.m. in a New Iberia health care facility. She enjoyed crocheting and going to the casino.

Survivors include her daughters Edres L. Blanchard of Jeanerette and Paulette L. Alleman and husband, George, of New Iberia; one son Eugene “Gene” Ladouceur of  Jeanerette; and a stepson Louis Ladouceur of Davenport, Iowa; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Amos Ladouceur; parents, Clement and Leona Thibodeaux Hebert; two sisters Mercedes and Sadie Hebert; two brothers Ulysse “Pine” Hebert and Clifton Hebert; and a son-in-law Paul Blanchard.
