we need to demand that Representative Melancon hold a town hall meeting in our area before returning to washington. it is our right to speak directly to him on these issues. email him now and reaquest a meeting with us, here on our turf. he was here when he was asking for your vote wasn't he. now, during these important times, wouldn't he want to meet with us to see how we feel about these issued so that he is able to accurately represent our wishes. that is his job isn't it?

If you plan on attending please post your support on this forum so I can get an idea of how many people will be attending! "

I was at the Vitter Town Hall meeting in Lafayette on Monday. About 800 turned out with about 98% against the healthcare reform legislation.
Lets go Charlie - lets have a townhall meeting in New Iberia. We promise to be civil and simply ask questions - about healthcare, cap and trade, union check off and HR 45 the gun control bill. Nothing difficult. Blue Dog or just lying on Nancy's porche? "

And for the hack who suggests we're all Republicans and we lost the election and therefore should role over and play dead I say this - we're not all Republican, and you're cowardly side didn't roll over and play dead on the Iraq war issue when you clearly LOST the 2004 election. Good for the goose - good for the gander. Now here's your crying towel. "

Voice your disapprovals by becoming a member and you get notified of how they vote, and YOU DO HAVE a voice!!
They want to get reelected so they do value your opinion. "

Senator Mary Landrieu is all FOR Obama's plan! She is being bombarded with letters of disapproval.
I am a registered republican voter, however I always vote for a person rather than a political party. There IS a way small businesses can voice their opinions to their Congressman and/or Senator. National Write Your Congressman... look at their website. You can easily learn how they voted. The public DOES indeed have a voice. But if you're going to complain and not take action then SHUT UP!!! It has come out how Obama used Acorn and the SEIU to pay for people to get out and get people registered to vote and get him elected. Also how they pay people to protest. Well he just woke a sleeping giant, the middle working class who have jobs and usually can't attend rallies. Now that they are attending rallies they are mobs. Obama and his lying cronies will be in for a rude awakening in the 2010 elections. And yes the Obama healthcare will be his waterloo. He's losing popularity faster then any president in history. "

Many people have praised the cash for clunkers bill as it has done a lot to stimulate car sales and result in more autos being made in Detriot.
Charlie is doing all of us a good job in Washington, leave him alone. "
