JEANERETTE — Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Evelyn Marie Lewis, 50, the former Evelyn Marie Bobb at 1 p.m. Satur-day at the Alex Lovett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander officiating. Interment will be in the Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the funeral home chapel until time of service.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, she died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Iberia Medical Center following a brief illness.

She is survived by her mother, Ella Mae Bobb Jr.; one daughter Chassidy Lewis; two grandchildren Keyirah and Kaden Lewis; one brother George Bobb III and one sister Dayatra Renee Bobb, all of Jeanerette.

She is preceded in death by her father, George Bobb Jr.; one brother Robert Bobb; paternal grandparents, George and Margaret Bobb Sr.; maternal grandparents, Dan White Sr. and Stella Rollins; and one aunt Irene Marks.

Pallbearers will be George Bobb III, Taylor Bobb, Brad Bobb, Elwin Ray Alexander, George Rollins and Glen Marks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kaden Lewis, Brandon Bobb, Taylor Bobb Sr., Robert Bobb, Wilson Lewis and Thaddius Sam.

The Alex Lovett Funeral Service Inc. of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
