Ortego - Louviere Krista Leigh Ortego and Blake Charles Louviere were married on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at The Manor in Cade. The bride is the daughter of Lee and Lisa Crane of New Iberia and Gregory and Brandy Ortego of Hammond. Officiating at the candle-light, double-ring ceremony was Judge Lori Landry. Escorted by her father, Gregory, and stepfather, Lee, the bride wore a strapless, white taffeta gown featuring a drop waistline embellished with sequins, pearls and crystals. The bottom featured a ruched skirt with a split of chiffon overlay adorned with appliqués enhanced by sequins and pearls. The gown was completed with a cathedral-length train. In her hair, she wore a tiara adorned with crystals and rhinestones supporting a white, fingertip-length, two-tiered veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of blush pink roses accented with her grandmother’s rosary. Tara Hayes, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Ashley and Destiny Crane, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Landry, Jamie Meyers, Lindsay Bouqet and Monica Sargent. Miniature bride was Emilee LaSalle. Megan LaSalle served as the flower girl. Keith Provost served as best man. Groomsmen were Taylor Ortego, brother of the bride, Lance Barras, cousin of the groom, Eric Bordelon, Travis Hayes, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jude Landry, cousin of the groom. Miniature groom was Zayne Hayes, godchild of the bride. Ushers were Earl Ortego Jr., godfather of the bride, and Beau Landry. A reception was held for family and friends at The Manor. Following a wedding trip of a cruise to Mexico, the couple will reside in Youngsville. |
