Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. John Russo Jr. the former Delta Delcambre, 84, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday July 1, 2009, at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 30, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Russo died Monday, June 29, 2009, at 5:40 a.m. in a Lafayette hospital.

Survivors include her children John Russo III and wife, Carla, of Scott, Nancy R. Isham and husband, Patrick, of New Iberia, Susan R. Bailey and husband, Bill, of Fayetteville, N.C. Carolina and Virginia R. Ashcraft and husband, Michael, of Lafayette; one brother Willard Delcambre of New Iberia; five grandchildren Matthew Isham, Michelle and Jennifer Ashcraft, Amber Cliburn and Savannah Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Russo Jr; parents, Joseph and Rita Toutcheque Delcambre; and a sister Ethel Breaux.
