LYDIA — Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Anthony W. Boudreaux, the former Paula Luent, age 90, at 10:30 a.m. Monday June 29, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville. Visitation will be Sunday, June 28, 2009 at David Funeral Home in New Iberia from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Monday at St. Nicholas Church in Lydia from 8 a.m. until service time.

A native of Abbeville and longtime resident of Lydia, Mrs. Boudreaux died Saturday June 27, 2009 at 9:12 a.m. at her residence. She enjoyed going to the camp and watching the World Series.

Survivors include four sons: Jesse Boudreaux and wife Anita and Jerry Boudreaux and wife Ramona of New Iberia and Larry Boudreaux and wife Denise and Jimmy Boudreaux and wife Roberta of Lydia; two daughters, Susan Boudreaux Ramzan and husband Nezam of Lydia and Patsy Boudreaux Barrilleaux and husband Percy of New Iberia; one brother, Paulin Luent of Lydia, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony W. Boudreaux; parents, Louis and Ada Frederick Luent; her sister Marie Luent Prince; a granddaughter, Amy Marie Boudreaux; two infant sisters and an infant brother.

Pallbearers will be Anthony, Cory, Jerod and Kimberley Boudreaux, Scott Mendoza and Adam Ramzan.
