Thomas Edward Land

HOPE MILLS, N.C. — Mr. Thomas E. Land, 67, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, in Fayetteville, N.C. after a short illness.

Mr. Land was preceded in death by his mother Alice Futral Land, father Arthur Perry Land, wife Linda, and sister Carolyn Ernst.

Mr. Land is survived by his sons, Sone Land, Logan Land, and Samuel Casey; granddaughters, Ashley, Kayli, and Persaiya; grandson, Dominick, all of North Carolina; and brothers, Ward Aaron Land and wife Judy of Opelousas and Arthur David Land and wife Carol of New Iberia; and special friend Kathy Goodwin of Tulsa, Okla.

He was a United States veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.  A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009.
