Maria Decoux ST. MARTINVILLE — Funeral Services will be conducted for Maria Decoux, 76, at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Donald Pelous officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 7 a.m. on Thursday until service time. A native and resident of St. Martinville, Ms. Decoux passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Ms. Decoux enjoyed crafts such as embroidery, sewing and making porcelain dolls, most recently she enjoyed surfing the Internet. She is survived by three sons Kelly Boudreaux Sr. and wife, Bonnie Landry Boudreaux, Rusty Boudreaux and wife, Gina, all of Catahoula and Darby Boudreaux and wife, Kimberly, of Baton Rouge; six daughters Lana B. Angelle and husband, Chris, of Breaux Bridge; Darlene B. Badeaux and husband, Wayne, of New Iberia; Susan B. Hill and husband, Jim, of Massillon, Ohio; Jackie B. Broussard and husband, Jerry, of Catahoula; Leslie B. Romero and husband, Tracy, of New Iberia and Holly B. Verret and husband, Hutch, of Fayettville, N.C.; her daughter-in-law Sandra Mason Boudreaux of Catahoula ; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Leida LeBlanc Decoux; her son Aldes “Tim” Boudreaux III; and her sister Velma D. Soignier. Pallbearers will be Kelly Boudreaux, Rusty Boudreaux, Darby Boudreaux, Aldes “Tim” Boudreaux IV, Waylon Badeaux and Jimmy Soignier.
