ABBEVILLE — A Celebration Service will be held for Warren “Pee-Wee” Reaux Jr., 51, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Faith Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Abbeville, with Rev. B. K. Stevens officiating

He will await the resurrection at Faith Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Grosse Isle.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday at the Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Warren was born to Mavis Maze Butler and Warren Reaux Sr. on December 31, 1958, in Lafayette.  He lived in Abbeville until he reached manhood and later moved to Houston for several years.  He was an offshore worker until his health started to decline.  He was called to glory on June 14, 2009. 1:37 p.m. at his residence in Abbeville.

He leaves in God’s care, his grandmother, Mrs. Alma Maze; stepfather, Louis Butler, Jr.; stepmother, Lucille Wimbly; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Peters (Ivory) and Sherrica  Maze; six brothers, Bryan, Jamie, Raymond, Rene and Brady of Abbeville; Larry Maze of Houston; four  aunts, Mrs. Lovella Mae Montgomery (Warren), Ms. Willa Mae Reaux, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, and Mrs. Shirley Bauer, of Abbeville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He joins in glory with his mother, Mavis M. Butler; his father, Warren Reaux, Sr.; grandparents, Mrs. Serina B. Williams and Robert Maze, Mrs. Eva Perro Reaux and Lawrence Reaux Sr. and one brother, Anthony Broussard.

Pallbearers will be Brady Broussard, Wilman Baudoin, Wilfred Baudoin, Walter Baudoin, Terry Plowden and Lawrence Plowden

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the immediate family.
