RYNELLA — A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2009, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church for Mrs. Jeanne LeBlanc Pellerin, 65.  Fr. Donovan Labbe will be the celebrant with Deacon Theo Landry assisting. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed until time of services on Monday. The Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Sunday. 

A native of Henry and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Pellerin passed away at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She loved taking care of everyone. She loved going to the bingo, casino, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Pellerin; her daughters, Rebecca L. Dees and husband Dale and Jenette L. Darden and husband Davy; her son, Terry LeBlanc; four grandsons, Blaine Dees and wife Ashley, Scott Dees, and Colby and Trent Darden; four granddaughters, Kimberly and Cassie Dees, Addie and Maddie LeBlanc; three brothers, John Vice and wife Elaine, Curlis Vice and wife Terry, and Naul Vice and wife Betty; ten sisters, Margaret Hebert and husband Allan, Neola Lege and husband Roland, Sarah Breaux and husband Gussy, Beverly Bourque and husband Paul, Arlene Segura and husband Reynold, Darlene Menard and husband Calvin, Florence Morvant and husband Robert, Della Broussard and husband Ory, Roseabell Segura and husband Leffrey, Shirley Thibodeaux and husband Willis, and Delores Delahoussaye; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clerphie and Azelia Breaux Vice, sisters, Charlene Vice and Joyce Gary; her first husband, Russell LeBlanc; and nephew, Jr. Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Terry LeBlanc, Curlis and John Vice, Davy Darden, and Dale and Blaine Dees.  Honorary pallbearers will be Colby and Trent Darden, Scott Dees, Eric Vice, Mallory Breaux and Naul Vice.
