PATOUTVILLE — It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of our loved one, Mrs. Macie S. Price, who died at 12:45 a.m. June 16, 2009, at A.G. Rhodes Home in Marietta, Ga.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1919, and was a native of Patoutville. Funeral services for Mrs. Price, 89, the former Macie Marie Savoie Comeaux, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Holy Family Cemetery Chapel with Deacon Wade Broussard officiating. Interment will be in the Mausoleum.

She is survived by two sons; Patrick K. Comeaux Sr. and his wife, Linda, of Woodstock, Ga., and Chris P. Comeaux and his wife, Connie, of Pleasanton, Texas, daughter-in-law Carolyn D. Comeaux of Carencro; grandchildren Patrick K. Comeaux Jr., of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Kim Comeaux, of Woodstock, Ga., Kerrie Richards and husband, Perry, of Pacific Palisades, Calif., Beverly Holland and husband, Shane, of Pleasanton, Texas, Beth Balderas and Brian Comeaux, of New Braunsfelds, Texas, Janaki Comeaux, of Nashville, Tenn., and Katie Mackay and husband, Matthew, of Carencro; and great grandchildren Patrick K. Comeaux III, Shaley and Brooke Holland, Brooke and Morgan Richards, Michael, Chaise and Samantha Balderas and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Durphy Comeaux, and her second husband, Lawrence Price; her parents, Arthur and Hortense Boudreaux Savoie; her sons Kirk P. Comeaux and Danny Comeaux; her grandson-in-law Michael Balderas Sr.; one sister Eola Richard; and three brothers Eddie, Offid “Moon” and Claude Savoie.

Thank you, Mom, for giving us life. You will be sadly missed and we will honor your memory forever.
