Funeral services for Mrs. Michelle L. Burke, 27, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009, at Acadian Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pastor Roland Fontenot of Trinity Baptist Church of New Iberia will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 18, 2009, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Mrs. Burke loved children and assisting others in need. She lived in Iberia Parish most of her life. She was born on Feb. 16, 1982, in Houma and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her residence in St. Martinville.

Mrs. Burke is survived by her husband, Albert C. Burke Jr., of St. Martinville; a daughter Charm Lindsey Burke; her parents, Gary and Jimi Huff Thibodeaux of Houma; two sisters Mollie Huff Haywood and husband, Andy, of Joaquin, Texas, Sherrie Malboruge and husband, Timothy, of Houma; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Thibodeaux; father- and mother -in-law, Albert C. Burke Sr. and Carol F. Burke; with a number of nieces and nephews

Pallbearers are Colby Prados, Conrad Babin, Tyler Lasseigne, Raymond Thibodeaux, Travis Barras, Albert C. Burke Sr., Gary Thibodeaux and Tim Malboruge
