ICCA President Phyllis Cutrera said the group is a mixture of swamp pop and rock ’n’ roll.
The group originated in 1955 in Eunice and has grown from a three-piece band to a 12-piece ensemble, releasing more than 20 CDs and touring the U.S. many times.

The ICCA’s next two performances for this season are Lloyd Hebert on March 8 and Crystal Harmony, a trio of three-glass instrument musicians from the Siberia, on March 29.
The ICCA also has chosen a 2009-2010 line-up that includes Daniel Rodriguez, a former New York City police officer and a tenor who sang “God Bless America” after the 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, and a Neil Diamond impersonator, Cutrera said.
Cutrera said memberships are “crucial” to enable the group to plan for the next season in advance.
“The membership drive is the crucial thing in order for us to continue with the community concerts,” she said.
Tickets are $20 at the door; the concert begins at 7 p.m at the New Iberia Senior High School auditorium. Seasonal memberships cost $40 and also allow people to go to concerts in Morgan City.
