Artie M. Buck

Ms. Artie Morgan Buck, 90, a native of Hog Island and a resident of Ricohoc, died Friday, Dec., 12, 2008, at 8 p.m. at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved collecting dolls and antiques.

Ms. Buck is survived by one son, Charles Beverly Buck of Ricohoc; two daughters, Loyce Ann Buck Lanclos of Lafayette and Joyce Ann Buck Gauthier of Ricohoc; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Norman “Tick” Buck; two sons, Harvey Hubert Buck and Terry Norman Buck; parents, Frank Morgan and Lucinda Morgan; three brothers; and five sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Monday, Dec. 15th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary.  Visiting will resume Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the mortuary until time of service.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 16th, at 2 p.m. at Ibert’s.  Burial will follow in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Centerville.  Rev. Bobby Hodnett and Rev. Curtis Pace will officiate the services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary Inc. of Franklin.
