Howard Guillot Funeral Services will be conducted for Howard Guillot, 71, at 2 p.m. Tuesday at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Antoine officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. today with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.. Visitation will resume from 8 a.m. until service time Tuesday. He died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at 11:20 a.m. at his residence in New Iberia. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Guillot was a tool pusher for Global Marine having retired after 22 years of service. He loved working in the oilfield. He enjoyed being with his first and only wife Shirley. He also enjoyed caring for and relaxing in his pool and Jacuzzi. Survivors include his wife Shirley Barton Guillot; step daughter Stacy Stevens; granddaughter Angelitta Stevens; sister Joyce Guillot Stringfellow; sisters-in-law Lonie Guillot and Eunice Guillot and 14 nieces and nephews all of which are from New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Cora Lee Doty Guillot; two brothers Sidney Guillot Jr. and Harold Guillot and one nephew Harold Guillot Jr. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
