ST. MARTINVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Clelie Frederick Guidry, 101, who passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at St. Martinville Rehab & Nursing Center in St. Martinville.

Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Reader will be Angela Racca.

Clelie Guidry was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons Harold Guidry and his wife, Lu of Fairfax, Virginia and A. J. Guidry and his wife, April of St. Martinville; her daughters, Doris Tabor of St. Martinville and Agnes Reaux and her husband, Stanley of New Iberia; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cyrus Guidry; her sister, Clemence Barras; her brothers, Henry, Paul, Lucien, Gilbert, Antoine and Doreston Frederick Jr.; and her son-in-law Elvist Tabor.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, and continue at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
