Port Barre beats ACS; Hanson defeats ESA

OPELOUSAS -- Perez Pickney scored 18 and James Oleka added 12 as Port Barre jumped out to an early lead and beat Assembly Christian 64-42 in the Westminster Round Robin Tournament Wednesday.

The Red Devils led 14-5 at the end of the first quarter and 29-12 at halftime.

Keisuz Provost and Josh Russo each scored 11 points for ACS while Dakota Billiot and Gunner Robicheaux each had 10.

ACS plays Westminster tonight in the tournament.

Hanson 55, ESA 48

Matthew Guienze scored a game-high 23 points as Hanson handed ESA a loss in the Erath Tournament Wednesday.

Guienze outdueled ESA’s Brandon Taylor, who had 21 for the Falcons.

Max Kallenberger added 12 and Andy Rinaldi had 11 for ESA.
