Local students compete at small school district meet

LAFAYETTE -- Brandy Milliman scored 12 points for Catholic High as 17 schools Class 3A and smaller competed in the Small High School District Swim Meet at the Robicheaux Center on Tuesday.

Milliman placed ninth in the  100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:45.65 and 14th in the 100-yard breast stroke in 1:53.18.

Also swimming in the small school division was Sarah Menard, a seventh grader at Assembly Christian School.  Menard was 34th in the  50-yard freestyle in 45.49 seconds.
