Funeral Services will be conducted for Ruby Mary Comeaux, age 87, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

A native of Port Arthur, Texas and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Comeaux passed away at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at a local home.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday until service time.

She is survived by her sons, Hugh Champagne and his wife Judy of New Iberia, Norman Champagne and his wife Judy of Waco, Texas and one daughter, Pamela Larkin Skanes of Maryland; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oday and Marie Landry Comeaux; one daughter, Jeanette Burns; one brother, Merceaus Comeaux; three sisters, Fanny Barrilleaux, Anita Vitter and Daisy Pike.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Champagne, Norman Champagne, Raymond Hulin, Chris Viator and Sandy Crochet.
